We are pleased to announce the formation of a new company Technical Resources & Solutions (TRS). The company is a spin-off from Technical Resources which was established by Jeff Abraham in 1988. TRS was formed due to increased interest from Technical Resources’ customer base to provide cost-effective contract resource support for short and long term projects.

Our contract services can provide the level of support required by our customers to address their process or equipment needs. Whether the requirement is for a single engineer or over 100 engineers, the advantage we have is a result of Technical Resources’ large and well established network accumulated over the past 18 years. TRS has over 18 years of experience in sourcing true talent and facilitating customer solutions. TRS is familiar with and understands the requirement to successfully integrate our resources with our clients’ personnel. The leadership of this company has over 50 years of combined Semiconductor Industry experience in both fab manufacturing and OEM support.

In a cyclical business environment, our on-demand workforce can be used for upturns in business or in times when production forecasts are uncertain and you cannot justify an increase in your own permanent workforce. Our experienced resources can assist with special projects or as staff augmentation during inconsistent or brief up turns in the business cycle.

TRS has the ability to quickly meet the most challenging of requests for short term, long term or installation projects. We provide a low cost solution to your needs without compromising on the quality of staff. We have specialist engineers who have many years of Field Service and/or Fab experience on a broad spectrum of wafer manufacturing equipment. As we begin to build momentum with this new division, it will quickly be recognized as a leader in the area of contract services by providing a quality service at a low cost solution.

TRS Services

• On Site Support (Long Term)
  Provide long term onsite support with dedicated engineers integrated into the customer work force. We encourage the customer to work with TRS on the selection of these engineers to strategically meet their long term goals.
  
  
• On Site Support (Short Term)
  Short term resource shortages due to an increase in the backlog, down tools, special projects, and/or equipment upgrades, where the demand for trained engineer does not justify an increase in head count. TRS is able to supply trained and experienced engineers that can “hit the ground running” to supplement the customer’s existing engineering staff.
  
  
• Installation/Commissioning/Warranty Support/Decommissioning
  If you are planning on moving a system within your fab, purchasing a used system, or moving a system from another wafer fab, TRS can help. TRS has trained engineers (many ex-OEM engineers) able to manage the decommissioning and re-commissioning of most types of wafer fab equipment.
  
  
• Engineer Consultant
  We can provide technical resources to assist on those hard down systems that need extra resources or just a different approach. We have ex-OEM engineers for most equipment types with several years of experience who also have access to additional support from other engineers
  
  
• Process Support/Consulting
  We are able to offer area specific process support, photo, etch, films, implant etc. and also equipment specific process support.
